The Eduard photo-etched set for the Flakpanzer IV Möbelwagen in 1:35 scale is a photo-etch detail accessory for sharpening a plastic kit, not a model of the vehicle.
Responsibility details are not available.
An etched brass detail set in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not a model but an accessory for sharpening a plastic kit of the German Flakpanzer IV Möbelwagen anti-aircraft vehicle with its 37 mm gun. The etched parts replace and complete elements that cannot be made faithfully in injection-molded plastic — typically the folding armor walls of the fighting compartment, grilles, brackets and fine external detail. The set is meant for modelers who want to lift a base kit to a higher level.
The Flakpanzer IV Möbelwagen was a German self-propelled anti-aircraft gun built on the chassis of the Panzer IV tank. It carried a 37 mm anti-aircraft gun surrounded by folding armor walls which, once folded up, made the vehicle look like a furniture van — hence the nickname Möbelwagen. It served to defend units against low-flying aircraft in the closing period of the Second World War.
Separate the etched parts carefully from the fret, bend them on the edge of a blade or in a bending tool and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or a two-part adhesive. Give matte brass surfaces a primer before varnishing. The folding walls can be fitted either folded up or dropped down; weather with washes and pigments only once the construction is finished.
This is not a model but a detail accessory. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
