Protože 1:35 je měřítko pozemní techniky a figurek. Border Model ho zvolil záměrně, aby šel Fw 190 postavit do jednoho dioramatu s tanky, vozidly a figurkami — s běžným leteckým 1:32 to velikostně nefungovalo.

R znamená Rüstsatz — továrně dodávanou sadu výzbroje a vybavení. R2 přinesl třicetimilimetrové kanóny MK 108 ve vnějších křídlech, R6 raketnice Werfer-Granate 21 pod křídly, R7 pancéřování kabiny a R8 kombinaci kanónů MK 108 s těžkým pancířem (Sturmbock).

Ne, z jedné krabice postavíte jeden letoun. Před stavbou si vyberete jednu z výbav R2, R6, R7 nebo R8 — díly pro všechny čtyři jsou v balení, ale použijete vždy jednu sadu.
