1:35 M8 Armored Gun System — photo-etched set from Voyager Model is an add-on set for a plastic kit you already own, not a standalone model. According to the name it also includes smoke grenade launchers, and it is cut for the Panda Hobby PH35039 kit.

It is not a model of the vehicle; the parts are fitted to the finished Panda Hobby PH35039 plastic kit and replace the places where injection-molded plastic cannot be thin enough. The name of the set states that smoke grenade launchers are included as well.
The M8 Armored Gun System is an American light tracked carrier for a 105 mm gun, developed in the 1990s for units that have to move quickly and by air. The design reckoned with an autoloader, low weight and modular armor at several levels of protection. The vehicle never entered full series service with the American army, but the concept returned repeatedly later in the form of demonstrators and offers for light armored forces.
It pays to prepare the workplace in advance: a glass or steel surface, a sharp scalpel, two pairs of tweezers of different shapes and a photo-etch bender. Small parts are best cut off only at the moment you are going to glue them, otherwise they are easily lost. Assemble smoke grenade launchers and similar small items on a work surface away from the model and carry them to the vehicle only when finished. On the plastic, first trim away the original molded details the photo-etched parts replace and sand the surface flat.
The set is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The kit, glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
