A precisely extruded I-shaped profile of white polystyrene. The height of the section is 12.7 mm, the width of the flanges 7.1 mm, the thickness 1.5 mm and the bar is 375 mm long. The package contains one piece. An I beam faithfully imitates rolled steel girders and serves as a horizontal load-bearing element.

Working the material

Polystyrene is easy to cut, saw, sand and drill, is glued with liquid cement for plastic models and takes fillers and paints. Joints with other materials hold with super glue. The material is compatible with the plastic of ordinary kits.
