France, 1944 1:35 from Master Box - a genre set of plastic figures of American paratroopers and French civilians.
Responsibility details are not available.
This genre set of plastic figures in 1:35 scale from Master Box (Ukraine) captures a scene from the France of 1944 as it was being liberated - American paratroopers and French civilians. The figures come on several sprues, are unassembled and unpainted, and together they create the story of an encounter between soldiers and local people.
After the Normandy landings of 1944, Allied units including paratroopers advanced through a France that was being liberated. Encounters between soldiers and the civilian population were an ordinary part of those days. The set represents the scene matter-of-factly, as a period scene well suited to telling a story.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and clean up the parting seams. After the primer, olive and khaki shades suit the soldiers and more varied civilian tones the local people; shade the faces and hands. A combination of brush and airbrush works well.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
