Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of decals in 1:35 scale with the generic markings of the ISAF peacekeeping force in Afghanistan. This is not a kit but an accessory with which a model that is already built is fitted out further.
The abbreviation ISAF denotes the International Security Assistance Force, which operated in Afghanistan from the end of 2001 under a UN mandate and from 2003 under NATO command. The mission ended in 2014. Contingents from dozens of countries served in it and their equipment was exceptionally diverse, from wheeled carriers through armored off-road vehicles to supply trucks. Because they moved in a shared area, alongside national insignia they also used shared elements of marking, which were to make recognition and traffic control easier. A generic set of this kind is therefore not tied to a single state or to a single vehicle.
The equipment of the mission wore pale desert and gray shades, and dark markings stand out against them by contrast. Pale designs on a pale base, by contrast, disappear easily; in such a case let a decal dry through properly and only then judge its opacity, because a damp film is always more transparent than it will finally be. Markings on modern equipment tend to be clean even on an otherwise dusty vehicle, so take the pigments around them, not across them.
The decals are supplied on their own. A model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
