German 120mm Mortar 42 with crew 1:35 is a plastic set from Zvezda: a model of the heavy mortar with its cart and four figures of the artillery crew of the Second World War.

This injection-molded plastic set in 1:35 scale combines a model of the heavy 120mm mortar on a two-wheeled carriage, a transport cart, ammunition and four crew figures. Following the instructions, the weapon can be built either in the firing or in the transport position, which makes the whole a rewarding base for a diorama. The figures have separately molded gear and weapons.
The heavy 120 mm mortar was derived from the design of a Soviet mortar that the Germans captured and put into production of their own from 1943. The weapon proved itself as effective fire support for the infantry and served to the end of the Second World War. It was towed behind a prime mover on its two-wheeled carriage.
Cut the small parts from the sprues with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid modeling cement for plastic. We recommend spraying the set with an airbrush over a base coat of primer; keep the crew uniforms in field gray and khaki shades, bring out the metal parts of the mortar with a dry brush, and give the scene mud and dust effects with a final patina of washes and pigments.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
