A themed set of small military material in 1:35 scale. It follows on from set 1, which the manufacturer offers separately under the code YMP3509, so both parts can be used side by side in one scene. The mines belong among the accessories which give a diorama a story, as they suggest what is happening in the place at that moment.
The set will come into its own on dioramas with engineer work, with the preparation of a defensive position, at a field ammunition depot or as a small load on a fender and in the cargo bed of a vehicle. It also serves well on figure scenes, where a particular object has to be put into the hands of the figures or under their feet. In 1:35 scale these are small parts which give a scene credibility but do not overpower the main model.
Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest down with fine abrasive paper. Suit the choice of glue to the material of the parts; super glue holds universally. Wash and degrease the surfaces before painting. Small objects are well served by a dark wash into the recesses, light dry brushing of the edges and a final dusting which unifies them with the ground of the diorama.
The package holds the set of accessories stated. A model, figures, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
