1:35 German Army Horch V8 Type 830R Command Car is a plastic kit of the German staff car of interwar manufacture, offered by the Roden brand.

An injection-molded kit of the Horch 830R off-road passenger car in the military form for command and staff duties. The set was released by the Roden brand in 1:35 scale, and it holds plastic sprues, glazing and decals for two sets of license plates. The open body with no fixed roof gives the finished model a very civilian look that stands out markedly from ordinary military equipment.
The Horch 830R grew out of the luxury eight-cylinder car from Horch, whose chassis was substantially strengthened and simplified for army use. It is usually described as the first Kübelwagen type vehicle, that is an open military passenger car with folding side panels and a canvas roof. It was built in the second half of the 1930s and several thousand were produced. It served mainly to carry officers and to tow light guns. It stayed in use into the first years of the war, but on the Eastern Front most of the cars succumbed to impassable terrain and bad weather.
An open body means the whole interior will be visible, so finish the seats, the dashboard and the floor before you close the car up. Seat the fenders and the running boards while checking the symmetry about the centerline. The gray finish of early German equipment stands out after a slight lightening of the horizontal surfaces and a dark wash into the joints. If you use the canvas roof, set it apart with a more matte and warmer shade than the metal of the body.
In the box you will find sprues with the parts, glazing and decals. The assembly and the finish remain up to you, as does getting hold of glue and paints.
