A set of figures of German infantry from the fighting in the hedgerows (the bocage) in Normandy in 1944, 1:35 scale, from the manufacturer Dragon.
Responsibility details are not available.
This kit from the manufacturer Dragon represents German infantrymen from the fighting in the Normandy hedgerows (the bocage) of 1944 in 1:35 scale. The set contains figures in action poses matching combat in dense, broken terrain and suits both bringing dioramas to life and accompanying German late-war vehicles. The moldings offer fine rendering of the uniforms and equipment.
The bocage was a landscape divided by high hedges and banks which, after the Normandy landings, restricted movement and turned every field into a defensive position. The fighting there was stubborn and took place at short range, which is reflected in the poses of the figures.
Clean up the parts and glue them with cement for plastic, then fill the seams. Treat the uniforms in field gray-green and khaki shades, break up the camouflage elements and tie the whole together with a wash. Bring out the faces and the equipment with a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
