A German tank crew for the Panther tank in 1:35 scale from Evolution Miniatures. Resin figures that will liven up a built model of an armored vehicle.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of resin figures intended to complete a built model of the German Panther medium tank in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit of the vehicle, but a crew that gives a finished model scale, action and a human dimension. The castings are of gray modeling resin and are supplied unpainted, unassembled and with casting blocks. The set is conceived as a pair of crew figures.
The Panther was a German medium tank of the Second World War with a long 75 mm gun barrel and sloping front armor. The vehicle was operated by a crew of five, that is the commander, the gunner, the loader, the driver and the radio operator. The figures are based on the period dress of the tank units, which included one-piece or two-piece overalls, leather accessories, pouches and a headset. The posture is designed so that the figures fit into the turret hatches or at the side of the hull.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap to remove residues of mold release agent, otherwise the paint will not hold on the surface. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw or a sharp knife, sand the surfaces wet and use respiratory protection while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), as ordinary cement for plastic will not join resin. After spraying primer, work from the large areas to the detail: spray the dress with an airbrush, paint the face and the hands by hand with acrylics using gradual shading and highlighting, and bring out the metal buckles and clasps with a dry brush.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
