Under the manufacturer's part number DP3002 the maker lists plastic transport crates in its accessory line, that is the stackable crates used today in warehouses, workshops and by emergency services. It is not a vehicle kit but a set of accessories that brings a cargo bed, a workshop or a diorama scene to life.
An empty cargo bed or a bare workshop floor looks unfinished on a completed model. A few crates stacked on top of one another, one open toward the viewer and one set aside, give a scene both scale and a story. Small accessories of this kind are also useful for covering spots where a joint did not come out well or where detail is missing.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with detergent so that the mold release agent disappears from them. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw and level the area, and protect your airways when sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The plastic of modern crates looks good after a coat of primer and a rich color, softened with light dry-brushing on the edges. Scuffed corners and numbered labels give used crates credibility.
