A set of two figures cast in resin in 1:35 scale from the brand Bravo 6. It is not a kit of equipment but a figure composition intended for a diorama. The castings are supplied unassembled and unpainted and their working differs from injection-molded plastic, so the set is suitable rather for experienced modelers.
The subject is a two-figure scene of a Soviet soldier and a captured German soldier, which the manufacturer dates to the years 1943 to 1945. Both figures are modeled as one composition - their stances follow on from each other and only when stood side by side do they give the intended whole. The uniforms and the kit of both sides match the period stated and are modeled with fine folds and legible details. For a modeler it is an interesting exercise: in one package there are two different uniforms with different coloring, which makes the painting more varied work than with a figure on its own.
First wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the release agent from the mold is removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc and do not break them away. Glue the divided parts with cyanoacrylate super glue and reinforce the thin joints with a wire pin. Sand wet and with respiratory protection. First try the mutual placement of both figures out dry on the base and only then glue them down for good - with compositions that follow on from each other, a few tenths of a millimeter decide. After a thin primer, paint with acrylics and finish the skin and the faces off with oil paints.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
