This set contains fine photo-etched brass hinges in 1:35 scale from the manufacturer Matho Models. It is not a kit but a detailing accessory with which you fit out doors, gates, hatches, crates or cabinets in a scene. Photo-etched brass allows realistically small hinges that plastic castings cannot manage.
The hinges will add credibility to the wooden and metal opening features of a diorama, from barn gates to the lids of crates and the covers of containers. Suitable for civilian and military scenes where small working details matter.
Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp knife or photo-etch scissors, shape them gently if needed and stick them on with cyanoacrylate glue. Before painting, apply a base for metal, then the shade of metal, rust or paint, and bring the edges out. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and the target scene are not included in the package.
