An accessory set for a model of the British Humber Mk IV armored car in 1:35 scale. It adds stowage and equipment to the vehicle, that is the things a crew carried with them and that on a model tell a machine in the field from a car in factory condition.
The Humber was among the most numerous British armored cars of the Second World War. It was a four-wheeled vehicle with an armored body and a rotating turret, meant mainly for reconnaissance, that is for driving ahead, observing and returning quickly with a report, not for fighting tanks. The Mk IV form differed from the older versions in the armament in the turret: it was given a 37 mm gun delivered from the United States.
A reconnaissance vehicle is small and its crew had everything with them. That is exactly why stowage looks natural on it and benefits a model twice over: it breaks up the large bare faces of the armor and adds color where there would otherwise be a single shade. Lay the arrangement out dry and place things where a crew could reach and where they would not get in the way of the turret traverse or the driver's view.
This is an accessory to a kit, not a model of the vehicle. Paints, glue and tools are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
