FineMolds 1:35 IJA Infantry Kwantung Army 1939 is a set of plastic figures of Imperial Japanese Army infantry of the year 1939, for completing models and dioramas in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of injection-molded plastic figures from the Japanese manufacturer FineMolds captures infantrymen of the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) as they appeared in 1939. The figures are meant to complete models of hardware and to build dioramas in 1:35 scale. The figures are caught in combat poses and completed with the gear and weapons of the period.
The designation Kwantung Army refers to the Japanese formation operating in the northeast of the Asian mainland in the late 1930s. The figures wear the period uniform with the stand-up collar that was still common at that time. The build of the figures follows the average height of soldiers of that period.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and clean up the joins carefully. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic. The uniforms and the faces come out well with layered brush painting, and oil paints will help with shading the folds of the cloth and with soft transitions on the faces.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
