Tamiya 1:35 photo-etched parts for the Leopard 2 A5/6 is a set of photo-etched parts that refines the details of the Leopard 2 tank. This is not a model of the tank, but an upgrade accessory.

A set of photo-etched parts in 1:35 scale from Tamiya, intended to improve the model of the German Leopard 2 main battle tank in the A5 and A6 versions. This is not a model of the tank, but a detail set that replaces selected plastic parts with fine photo-etched metal parts and increases the realism of the model.
The photo-etched parts reproduce above all the two turret stowage baskets at the rear more faithfully, in place of the mesh supplied in the kit. The metal version is thinner and bends better around the frame of the baskets, so the result looks more realistic than the plastic parts. The set is intended as an accessory for the Leopard 2 A5 and A6 kits from Tamiya.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and bend them over the edge of a ruler or in a photo-etch bending tool. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); cement for plastic does not hold on metal. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer so that the paint holds.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a complete model. The kit of the tank, glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
