The Leopard 2A6 is one of the most capable tanks of its generation. Its distinctive feature is the long barrel of the 120 mm smoothbore gun, which improves both range and penetration. The vehicle combines heavy armor, a powerful drivetrain and modern fire control systems, and it is used by a number of European armies.
We recommend assembling and test-fitting the running gear before the hull is closed up. Workable tracks make it easier to settle them on the wheels and to weather them later. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). An airbrush suits a faithful finish, with light panel emphasis and fine washes and pigments for the dust deposits.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
