A standalone detail set, not a model of the vehicle. It contains photo-etched parts for refining the build of the American M1070 heavy tractor in 1:35 scale. It replaces and complements plastic parts with finer photo-etched elements such as grilles, brackets, loops and small fittings. The manufacturer is the Czech company Eduard.
The M1070 is an American heavy road tractor intended to carry tanks and heavy equipment on a semi-trailer. It is marked by a rugged cab, a massive chassis and all-wheel drive. The armed and partly armored version served to protect military convoys.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a blade on a hard surface and form the bends with tweezers or a bender. Bond with super glue applied in small drops. Degrease the parts before painting; bring the finished surfaces to life with a wash and pigments for the dust and mud effects typical of off-road vehicles.
A detail set, supplied unassembled. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
