This set from DEF Model is not a kit but a set of replacement wheels cast in resin for the model of the American M1070 heavy tractor and the M1000 HETS trailer from the Hobby Boss kit in 1:35 scale. The wheels have a flattened area modeled into their lower part, the so-called sagged shape, so that once they are fitted the vehicle looks as if it really stood on the ground under load.
It is an extensive set covering the wheels of the tractor as well as the numerous wheels of the trailer, supplemented with spare pieces and a mask for easy painting of the hubs. The resin castings have a finer tread pattern and hub detail than the production parts and replace the original wheels of the Hobby Boss kit as a whole.
First wash the resin parts to remove any mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and clean the parts up. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Use respiratory protection when sanding resin. Use the enclosed mask for a clean paint finish on the wheel hubs.
The set contains only the resin wheels and the mask, not the model of the vehicle. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
