Responsibility details are not available.
An add-on detail set in 1:35 scale from AFV Club representing the modern M151 remotely operated weapon station. It is NOT a stand-alone vehicle model but an accessory intended to be fitted to models of present-day armored and wheeled vehicles. The set is molded in plastic and supplemented with clear parts for the optics and a photo-etched fret for fine details.
A remotely operated weapon station of the M151 type allows the operator to fire from a protected position inside the vehicle. The station can be fitted with a heavy machine gun or an automatic grenade launcher and it is equipped with optical and sighting systems. This kind of equipment has spread on modern armored personnel carriers and fighting vehicles.
The set is intended for modelers of modern military vehicles who want to add a faithful remotely operated station to their vehicle. The small and clear parts call for careful work; finish the optics only after varnishing. Glue the photo-etched items with cyanoacrylate glue.
This is an add-on set, not a stand-alone model. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
