A resin main rotor for the American helicopter of the Black Hawk family in the MH-60L version in 1:35 scale from ResKit. It is not a kit of a helicopter but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic main rotor from the box with a truer resin part carrying a well worked-out rotor head and blades.
The resin main rotor has markedly crisper detail on the head, the pitch links and the blades than the injection-molded part. Watch out for a mix-up with the tail rotor: this set is the large main rotor above the fuselage.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut them carefully from the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Straighten the longer blades and glue them on a flat surface.
This is a detail accessory for experienced modelers, not a model on its own. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
