A photo-etched detail set in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker Hauler, intended for models of the open-bodied Mercedes-Benz 170V (Tourenwagen) passenger car. It is not a model but a set of fine brass parts that refine the places on view in both the civilian and the military version of this car.
The Mercedes-Benz 170V was a widely used German passenger car of the thirties and forties. In the open Tourenwagen version it also served during the war as a staff and liaison car. Thanks to the uncovered body, a great many fine details of the interior and the exterior are visible on a model.
Cut the photo-etched parts from the fret, bend them along the scored lines and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the brass before painting and go over it with a primer. On an open car it pays to give care to the interior, which stays clearly visible.
This is a photo-etched accessory, not a model in its own right. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
