This item is not a kit of a helicopter but an add-on set for its interior. Quinta Studio prints it in relief and in color directly onto decal paper, so the individual features transfer onto the cockpit surfaces much like decals, only they carry relief as well as a finished color finish. According to the name this is the Small version form, and 3D-printed resin parts are included as well. The target kit is KittyHawk and the set is cut precisely to its shapes.
The MH-60L is a special version of the Black Hawk family of helicopters intended to support special forces. It differs from ordinary transport machines above all in its internal equipment: navigation and communications gear, the layout of the crew stations and the fit-out for operating at night and at low altitude. That is exactly why it pays to give the interior attention on a model: the cockpit glazing is large and you can see well inside, so empty instrument panels are immediately conspicuous.
Work in sections and transfer the individual features one at a time, not all at once. The base has to be smooth and free of grease, otherwise the transferred part will not lie down. Do not use decal softening preparations or setting solution at all: their chemicals would damage the printed resin of the feature; you adapt the feature to the shape of the part with a damp brush and pressure from a blunt tip. Let the transferred surfaces dry thoroughly and only then close the cockpit up. A final matte varnish evens the surface out so that the interior does not read as glossy film.
