The FV510 Warrior is a British tracked infantry fighting vehicle with a two-man turret and a space for the dismount section. The abbreviation TES in the designation refers to the package of modifications with which the vehicles were additionally equipped before deployment in an overseas operation: add-on armor, slat armor frames against shaped-charge munitions and further elements of external protection. It is precisely these additions that give the vehicle the characteristic angular silhouette that modelers build most often.
Separate the parts with a scalpel on a hard surface and bend them in a bender, so that the edges are straight – on meshes and frames every ripple shows. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue in small drops and draw the excess off with the tip of a wooden stick. Degrease the metal and lay down a primer, otherwise the paint will not hold. A vehicle of this type looks good in a matte green or sand-colored base supplemented with washes into the recesses, paint wear on the grab handles and edges and dust pigments on the running gear.
