Aircraft carrier deck crew, the scene 2 tableau in 1:35 scale. A group of figures to enliven a flight deck; the figure 6 pcs is taken from the name of the item.
Responsibility details are not available.
The group captures the personnel working on the deck of an aircraft carrier during an ordinary day of operations. The designation scene 2 sets the second tableau of this subject apart from the first, which the manufacturer offers alongside it. The figure 6 pcs comes from the name of the item. The figures are intended for an aircraft model or for a whole deck scene.
The flight deck is a cramped workplace where within a few minutes a tow tractor, the catapult crew, the ordnance party and a man marshaling a machine to its launch position all meet. It is exactly this bustle that makes human figures the strongest narrative element of the whole scene: without them even the most carefully built machine looks like an exhibit in a display case, with them like equipment in service.
Personnel on carrier decks are distinguished by the color of their jerseys according to the work they do: yellow goes to marshaling the aircraft, green to the catapults and the arresting gear, red to the ordnance party, purple to fueling and blue to securing the landing gear. The color key is a guide to painting the whole so that the scene makes sense. Lay a base shade under the figures, deepen the folds with a liquid shade that flows into the grooves by itself, and pick out the raised edges with an almost dry brush.
Neither an aircraft nor deck equipment is supplied with the figures.
