A detail accessory, a set of separate track links, not a vehicle model. The set holds individual injection-molded plastic track links for the German medium tank Panther in the Ausf. G version. Separate links let you capture the weight and the sag of the track on the real vehicle faithfully, unlike the one-piece rubber tracks from the box. The set is intended for Panther Ausf. G kits in 1:35 scale from Tamiya.
Assemble and paint the track separately, before fitting it to the model. The basis is a dark steel shade; bring out the edges and the guide teeth with a metallic drybrush. Apply mud and dust pigments only at the end, for a faithful patina on the running gear.
For modelers building the Panther Ausf. G in 1:35 scale who want a realistic sag and articulation of the track instead of the rubber track from the box. Assembling it link by link takes patience.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
