Road wheels for the Pz.Kpfw. I Ausf. B 1:35 from PANZER ART: a resin replacement for the wheels of the German light tank. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of road wheels in 1:35 scale for a model of the German Panzer I light tank in the Ausf. B version. The castings have a sharper rendering of the hub, the rivets and the rubber tire band than injection molding achieves. It is not a kit, but a replacement for the plastic parts on a model you already own. On a small tank, where the running gear makes up a large part of the silhouette, the difference shows at first glance.
The Panzer I was originally a training and light combat tank with which the German army built up its armored units in the 1930s. The Ausf. B version had a lengthened hull, a more powerful engine and running gear with five road wheels per side, of which the rearmost was raised. The vehicle fought in Spain, in Poland and in France, and a range of conversions was built on its chassis, self-propelled guns and command vehicles among them.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent and remove the mold release agent. Cut off the casting blocks with a saw, true the surface with a file and sand with respiratory protection. Resin is bonded with super glue, that is, with cyanoacrylate. Fit and paint the wheels before the running gear is closed up and the tracks are fitted. Leave the rubber tire bands dark gray, lighten the hubs and at the end pull the whole running gear together with a dust coat from below upward.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
