It is an extensive, detailed kit with a large number of parts, individual track links and a turret shaped by multi-part slide molding. The T-72B3 is an upgraded version of the widespread T-72 tank. The upgrade brought a new fire control system, improved optics and observation devices, a more powerful powerpack and added armor including reactive elements. The T-72 family is among the most widespread tanks of the postwar era and its design was developed further into the later T-90. The B3 version represents an effort to keep a proven chassis at the level of current requirements at sensible cost.
Because of the large number of parts and the individual track links, set aside time for the build and follow the instructions. Paint the running gear and the tracks before closing up the hull. Separate the parts with a cutter and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. After spraying the base shade with an airbrush, pick out the welds, the hatches and the blocks of reactive armor with a wash and add dust and mud with pigments on the running gear and the lower surfaces.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
