This resin set in 1:35 scale from the Polish company PANZER ART contains cast wheels of the German light armored cars Sd.Kfz 221 and Sd.Kfz 222 in the early form. It is not a model but replacement wheels for higher detail on a kit.
The Sd.Kfz 221 and the Sd.Kfz 222 were German four-wheeled light reconnaissance armored cars of the Second World War. As wheeled vehicles they stood on tires whose form changed during production; the early pattern differs from the later one in tread pattern and in detail. The castings capture both the tread pattern and the flattening of the tire under load.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks away and clean the surfaces up with respiratory protection. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Set the wheel down with the flattened part against the base for a convincing impression of a loaded tire. Paint the rubber dark and add dust and mud effects.
This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
