Injection-molded plastic kit of the 100 mm howitzer model 14/19 in 1:35 scale from IBG. The set consists of sprues with finely shaped plastic parts, a metal barrel, a decal sheet and illustrated instructions. The subject is pure artillery rather than a vehicle, so you can build the model as a standalone piece or as a strong centerpiece of a diorama.
The model 14/19 howitzer was created at the famous Skoda works by modernizing the older Austro-Hungarian model 14. Its production started up after independent Czechoslovakia came into being and it was a very widespread and reliable weapon of the interwar period. It served with a number of European armies and in various forms also took part in the fighting of the Second World War.
The metal barrel adds to the fidelity of the model; degrease it before gluing and use cyanoacrylate glue for a dependable joint. Glue the plastic parts with liquid cement for plastic. It is best to paint the carriage and the wheels with an airbrush over a base coat, and then to bring the wooden and metal parts to life with washes and pigments. Thanks to the open structure, careful work with the shades really shows.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
