This resin accessory in 1:35 scale is not a model in its own right but a set of replacement road wheels for the BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle. The castings offer sharper detail on the tread and the hubs than ordinary plastic parts and they make building the running gear easier.
The BMP-2 is a Soviet tracked infantry fighting vehicle brought into service in the 1980s, armed with a 30 mm automatic cannon. Its running gear consists of characteristic light road wheels. Good castings help capture their shape and the wear on the rubber tires faithfully.
Wash the resin parts free of release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways while sanding. Set the rubber tires apart in matte black and suggest the wear with pigments and dust shades.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
