Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Swedish Saab J-29B Tunnan jet fighter in 1:48 scale from Hobby Boss. The model is supplied as a set of parts to be assembled and painted. It offers engraved panel lines, a well-worked cockpit with an ejection seat, a two-part air intake and underwing stores.
The Saab 29, nicknamed Flygande tunnan, meaning the Flying Barrel, was a Swedish jet fighter of the 1950s with a barrel-shaped fuselage. Compared with the first production batches, the J-29B variant had an increased fuel capacity and underwing pylons for bombs, rockets and drop tanks, which made it a fighter as well as an attack machine. It was one of the first European fighters with a swept wing.
Finish and paint the cockpit and the air intake before closing the fuselage up. Use liquid cement on the plastic, spray the surface with primer and lay the matte shades on with an airbrush. Before applying the decals, put a layer of gloss over the matte coat for a clean transition.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
