A set of figures of a Soviet and a German tank crew in a close fight, the second set of the line, 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A clash between two tank crews outside their own machines is a subject met only rarely in the modeling range. The set sets Soviet and German tank crewmen against each other in a fight at short range, that is at the moment when the outcome is decided neither by armor nor by caliber but by who is closer and faster. The number two in the name tells this set apart from the earlier set on the same theme; it is not a continuation of one view but a separate pair of sides.
The 1:35 scale means that a figure one hundred and seventy-five centimeters tall measures five centimeters on the model. The figures therefore fit armored hardware in the same scale and dioramas with terrain and buildings. Because these are figures from two armies, the set can be split and used in parts in two different views.
Stand the figures that are to touch facing each other dry first and only then glue them, or you will find out on the finished scene that the hands pass each other by. Cut any excess material away a little distance from the part with a sharp blade and sand the remainder so that the engraving of the folds is preserved. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Paint the uniforms of the two sides differently and rather exaggerate the difference between them, as fine differences in shade are lost on a five-centimeter figure.
For builders of dioramas looking for a view with a story, and for modelers of the armored hardware of both sides. Paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
