Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting templates for spraying Soviet red stars onto models of military vehicles in 1:35 scale. These are not decals but self-adhesive masks: they are applied to a finished coat, sprayed over with an airbrush, and once they are lifted the insignia is left sprayed directly in the paint, with no carrier film and no glossy edge. According to the name it is the solid form of the star and the sheet offers eight sizes, so one set serves on a tank as well as on a lighter vehicle.
The red star was the basic identification insignia of Soviet machines. On vehicles it appeared in various sizes and placements, sometimes as a solid area and sometimes only in outline, and its form differed by unit and by period. For a modeler that means one size will not do, and that is exactly why the masks are supplied with several dimensions on a single sheet.
Let the base dry perfectly and degrease it. Place the mask with tweezers and press the edges down carefully; on a curved area a slight warming helps. Lay the paint on in several weak bursts perpendicular to the surface, otherwise seepage threatens. Lift the mask off while the paint is fresh. A sprayed insignia looks convincing above all when it is then partly dusted over, lightly rubbed back at the edges or gone over with a weak filter, so that it does not look stuck on.
