A set of cast stowage for the American M8 Greyhound armored car in 1:35 scale. It contains equipment, baggage and secured gear shaped to seat on particular places on the hull and the turret. On a reconnaissance vehicle that often operated far from supply, loaded equipment is entirely in place.
The M8 Greyhound was a six-wheeled armored reconnaissance car with an open turret. The crew drove it forward and back, slept beside it and carried everything they needed with them. In period photographs you will therefore hardly find a clean-looking Greyhound; boxes, tarpaulins, jerrycans and personal baggage are as much a part of it as the armor.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and try the fit dry. Paint the stowage separately before you seat it, because a brush will not reach between the individual pieces later. Set the materials apart by surface: canvas flat, metal with a sheen, leather darker. At the end unify the whole with a dust pigment.
The set is an accessory to a kit and does not replace the kit. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
