A set of stamped tracks for the T-34 of 500 mm width with the V pattern from the years 1942 to 1943 in 1:35 scale, manufacturer PANZER ART.
Responsibility details are not available.
Replacement tracks for kits of the Soviet T-34 medium tank, corresponding to the stamped rendition of the link from the close of 1942 and from the following year. Inside its numbered series the manufacturer distinguishes several forms of the same design, so a modeler can choose the one that fits his subject instead of using a universal track from the box.
Wartime production looked for ways to speed up and cheapen the production of components, and the track was one of the parts where that showed most. Compared with a cast one, a stamped link has smoother surfaces and differently shaped edges; seen from the side, the track appears more slender and cleaner. It is precisely such differences that tell machines from different years of production apart, even though they otherwise look similar.
Before you start building, verify dry how long a run the track needs. Rid the castings of the mold release agent with a bath in lukewarm water with detergent and remove the flash with a cut led parallel to the surface of the link. Assemble and glue with cyanoacrylate glue in parts, so that the track can be shaped on the rollers. At the close accentuate rust in the gaps and soil along the guide horns.
The goods are an accessory to a kit, not a model of a tank.
