Friulmodel metal tracks in 1:35 scale are a replacement set of individual white metal links for the Soviet light tanks T-60 and T-70. It is not a model but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic or rubber tracks from the boxed kit. The links are joined with metal pins into a fully workable run with a convincing weight and a natural sag.
The T-60 and T-70 were Soviet light tanks of the Second World War period, built in large numbers at the start of the war on the Eastern Front. They served for reconnaissance and for direct support of the infantry. Their light chassis later also served as the basis of further vehicles. The set replaces their tracks.
First clean the flash off the individual links and fit them together. They are joined with metal pins made from the enclosed wire, which you cut to length, and the result is a genuinely workable run that follows the road wheels and the natural sag between them. Metal holds paint and pigments excellently, so we recommend painting and weathering the tracks before fitting them to the model. Metal tracks come into their own once weathered with dust and mud effects.
This is a detail set of metal tracks, not a vehicle model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
