About product

DSPIAE Leather Protector for Nippers (blue)

The leather protector is an accessory for modeling nippers. It slips onto the jaw with the cutting edge and protects the fine edge from knocks, from rubbing against other tools and from damp while the nippers are not in use or are being carried. It is not the nippers themselves but a protective cover that extends the life of their edge.

Use

  • Slipping onto the cutting edge of nippers when they are put into a box or a bag.
  • Protecting the edge from being knocked against other tools.
  • Limiting the access of damp to the steel and thereby lowering the risk of corrosion.
  • The blue color makes it easier to pick particular nippers out of a set of tools.

Who it is for

  • Owners of good modeling nippers who want to protect their edge.
  • Modelers who carry their tools or store them outside a stand.
  • Anyone who cares about order in their modeling tools.

It is a protective accessory for a tool. Nippers are not included in the package.

FAQ

No. It is only the leather protector for the cutting edge. The nippers themselves are not included in the package.

It is intended for DSPIAE modeling nippers, and its shape also fits a number of similar nippers of other brands.

It protects the edge from being knocked against other tools and limits the access of damp, so the nippers stay sharp longer.
