This 1:35 scale kit from MiniArt holds an American heavy motorcycle of the Second World War and one figure of a military policeman sitting in the saddle. It is an injection-molded plastic model to be assembled and painted. The box includes plastic parts, clear parts, a photo-etched fret and decals. The motorcycle is based on the Harley-Davidson WLA.
The Harley-Davidson WLA was a military motorcycle produced for the Allied armies during the Second World War. With a two-cylinder engine of about 740 cubic centimeters it served above all for liaison, reconnaissance and police and traffic duties. The model is completed by period fittings such as the submachine gun scabbard, the windshield, the saddlebags and the stand.
The motorcycle has a detailed engine made of many parts, so work patiently and use liquid cement for plastic. We recommend painting both the figure and the motorcycle with an airbrush and a brush, bringing out the metal surfaces and laying washes on the worn equipment. Putty is useful for the transitions between the parts of the figure.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
