This resin set precisely casts radial engines for a model of the Boeing B-17F and B-17G in 1:72 scale. It is a detail accessory for the Hasegawa kit, not a stand-alone model. The castings bring a fine detail of the cylinders and the mechanism that the plastic parts from the base mold usually lack.
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War. The B-17F and B-17G versions were powered by four radial engines. The faces of the engines are clearly visible behind the propeller blades, so rendering them in detail markedly raises the fidelity of a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut them off the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Recommended for modelers with experience of resin accessories. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The detail accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
