A figure of a United States Army soldier in 1:35 scale, set by its subject into the Afghan deployment. Contemporary military subjects rest on different colors from the Second World War: desert and olive tones prevail, with plenty of dust and matte surfaces, which tempts you into monotony when painting. That is exactly why it pays to work with shades and to let the individual parts of the equipment come out on their own.
It is a standalone figure for bringing a scene or a finished vehicle in the same scale to life. One figure beside a model does more for the legibility of size than the best base, because it shows the viewer at once how large the hardware really is. The figure also gives the scene a story and determines where the viewer looks first.
Cut any excess material away a little distance from the part with a sharp blade and sand the remainder. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Choose the glue to match the material of the parts: liquid modeling cement for polystyrene, cyanoacrylate for parts of other materials. After the base coat start from the darker tones, apply the lighter ones with a dry brush and finish the face with thin glazes. The assembly procedure is described in the manufacturer's instructions.
Paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
