Responsibility details are not available.
A set of waterslide decals in 1:35 scale from the maker Star Decals. It focuses on tanks of the T-54 and T-55 family deployed in Angola in the period of the 1970s and 1980s. It contains markings for several versions of this tank family. It is an accessory for plastic models of the corresponding type and scale, not a kit.
Tanks of the T-54/T-55 family were among the most widespread tanks of the Cold War and served in armies on many continents. In Angola they appeared in the hands of the local armed forces and of allied units operating in the region at the time of the civil war. The set documents their period external markings from a neutral, historical and documentary point of view.
Apply the decals onto a smooth gloss varnish and use a softener so that they settle into the detail and the surface structures. Once dry, go over them with a matte or semi-gloss varnish and weather them gently, so that the markings blend with the overall wear of the vehicle.
This is a decal set, not a model. The base kit, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
