This resin set from the Polish maker PANZER ART brings, in 1:35 scale, the welded supports of the return rollers for a model of the German Panzer IV medium tank, version No. 1. It is not a tank kit but a detail conversion set replacing the corresponding parts of the running gear.
Return rollers carry the upper run of the track. On later Panzer IVs, simplified welded supports were used instead of the earlier cast ones. PANZER ART captures this variant faithfully, including the welds and sections that tend to be simplified on plastic kits. The set therefore sharpens the characteristic look of the running gear.
Wash the parts clean of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend assembling and painting the running gear before closing it up and fitting the tracks; the welds and edges come out well with a dry brush and a wash, and mud and dust effects can be fine-tuned with pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model itself are not included in the package.
