Wheels for an ox-drawn cart in 1:35 scale. An accessory for scenes where an ordinary farm cart travels alongside military vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
Carts drawn by draft animals belong to the image of the countryside as well as to the image of the wartime rear. They carried hay and people's belongings on the road, stood by farms, blocked roads, and in the army rear they were still counted on even when motorized vehicles were already driving past. It is exactly this contrast that makes a cart a rewarding element of a scene: it shows the period, the place and the fact that the war took place among ordinary people.
The wheels are the most conspicuous part of a cart and a viewer at a display cabinet has them at eye level. The set deals with them separately, so you can use them as a replacement for parts you do not like or that have been damaged, or as a starting point when building a cart of your own. In 1:35 scale they fit kits of military vehicles and figures in the same scale.
What material the wheels are made of and by what process is to be found in the manufacturer's instructions. In general, cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and carefully sand the rest back. Wash and degrease the parts before painting and start with a base. When fitting them, make sure the wheels stand upright and that they all seat on the base, otherwise the cart will look crooked in a diorama even when the rest of the build is in order.
The wheels alone are supplied. Paints, glue and a kit are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
