This injection-molded plastic kit captures the Chinese ZLC2000 airborne infantry fighting vehicle. The model is meant to be glued and painted. The package offers a finely rendered exterior with separate hatches, a turret with a cannon, photo-etched engine grilles and a decal sheet; the exact contents may differ between individual editions.
The ZLC2000 is an amphibious vehicle with a parachute-drop capability, developed for the airborne units of the Chinese army, with which it entered service after 2003. In the turret it carries an automatic cannon of 25 mm caliber, a coaxial machine gun and a launcher for an anti-tank guided missile. The structure is lightened for transport by aircraft and for an airborne drop.
Finish the running gear and the lower areas of the hull before closing the upper part. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, and glue the photo-etched grilles with cyanoacrylate glue. Spray over a base coat (primer), and create the weathering with washes and pigments for dust and mud.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
