The photo-etched set Eduard Bismarck - railings and turrets 1:350: fine metal parts for refining a model of the battleship Bismarck. It is not a model but an accessory for the 1:350 kit (Revell).
Responsibility details are not available.
The photo-etched detail set Bismarck - railings and turrets in 1:350 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It is not a model but a set of fine brass parts focused on the railings and the details of the gun turrets of the German battleship Bismarck. The set is designed for the Bismarck kit from Revell in the same scale.
The Bismarck was a German battleship of the Second World War, sunk in May 1941. The set replaces the coarse plastic railings with scale-thin photo-etched ones and adds fine detail to the gun turrets. The ship thereby gains a fineness that injection-molded plastic cannot reach.
Separate the parts carefully from the fret with a sharp knife or photo-etch scissors, make the bends according to the instructions (ideally on a photo-etch bending tool) and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate): cement for plastic does not hold on metal. With long railings, patience and gluing in shorter sections pay off. Bend the railings into right angles along the outline of the deck and glue them section by section. We recommend spraying unpainted parts with primer and the color of the ship before fitting.
The photo-etched set is an accessory, not a model. The ship kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
