This injection-molded set from Trumpeter contains six small models of the American EA-6B Prowler carrier-borne electronic warfare aircraft in 1:350 scale. It is not a large stand-alone model but an accessory meant to populate the decks of US Navy aircraft carrier models. The box contains several pieces; the parts are simple, including the clear glazing, and the wings can be built extended or folded as required.
The Grumman EA-6B Prowler was an American carrier-borne electronic warfare aircraft of the US Navy and the Marine Corps. The four-seat machine jammed enemy radars and communications and protected formations of friendly aircraft.
Given the size of the parts, work with tweezers and a sharp knife and glue the small joints with super glue. Apply a thin primer before painting, spray with an airbrush and mask the clear glazing. It works well to paint the aircraft away from the ship model and fit them at the very end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
