Eduard 1:350 Kriegsmarine railings is a photo-etched accessory for models of German warships. It is not a kit but a detail set of railings in brass.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched set is not a model but a detail accessory. The finely etched railing of brass sheet is intended for models of German warships of the Second World War period in 1:350 scale and replaces thick plastic deck railings, or railings missing altogether. The manufacturer is the Czech firm Eduard, a leading brand of photo-etched parts.
The railing is etched in continuous strips on a fret and is cut to length to suit a particular deck. The thin metal holds its shape and bends around superstructures, turrets and along the sides of the hull. A realistic railing is among the most effective ways of giving a ship model a true scale look.
Cut the parts out of the fret with a sharp knife and use a photo-etch bending tool to shape the curves. Make the joints with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with a glue for photo-etched parts. Degrease the brass before painting and spray it with primer, then paint it over in the shade of the deck.
This is an accessory, not a model of a ship. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
