Eduard 1:350 U-Boat VIIC is a photo-etched set for sharpening up the details of a plastic model of the German Type VIIC submarine. It is not a kit but an accessory to a submarine model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard holds stainless steel photo-etch meant to refine the details of a plastic model of the Type VIIC submarine in 1:350 scale. It adds fine elements of the superstructure, railings, grilles and other parts that injection-molded plastic cannot capture in a matching thickness. The set is an accessory to a model, not a kit in its own right.
The German Type VIIC was the most widespread submarine of the Kriegsmarine in the Second World War. It was deployed above all in the Battle of the Atlantic, in the so-called wolfpacks against Allied convoys. It was a proven, rugged and widely built medium submarine.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and bond them with super glue. Bend the fine railings and grilles along the score line, ideally in a bending tool. Degrease the parts before painting. On a submarine it pays to work step by step and let the glue dry thoroughly.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a kit. The plastic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
